Mark joined the PURE ATHLETE podcast and discussed youth sports.

The Mission of the PURE ATHLETE Podcast is “WE HELP YOUNG ATHLETES BECOME THE BEST VERSION OF THEMSELVES IN SPORTS AND IN LIFE.”

It is hosted by former MLB Star from the Atlanta Braves Jeff Francoeur, Britt Lee (a sports parent and co-founder) alongside Brad Williams (a sports parent and also a High School Athletic Director). They interview a number of professional athletes like John Isner, Dansby Swanson, Cullen Jones, Tom Glavine, Carli Lloyd, Dell Curry, John Smoltz among many others. It was a great discussion about a lot of hot button issues in the youth sport and young athlete training space.

Some of the discussions were focused on sports parents, 12 and under athletes, playing multiple sports, how to appropriately specialize, why learning to stop is so important and some other great nuggets.
